Signs of summer at home... our hibiscus tree is blooming and cherry tomatoes are ripening.
We are having a wonderful summer and trying to make the most of each weekend.
Friday night we made tilapia for dinner then headed to Pineapple Whip for dessert. They introduced a new flavor (Strawberry Kiwi) this month. It's pretty good when swirled with the standard pineapple but a little too sweet on it's own.
Saturday morning we were up early for bike riding. I met some friends on the Frisco Line trail. It was perfectly cool and shady! That afternoon we drove to Branson to meet R's family. We made a spontaneous trip to the Water Shute and played there for an hour before heading back for dinner.
Sunday morning we slept in and R made waffles for breakfast. I also got to try out my new Bodum double-walled glasses with a latte. Later, I went to church while R raced his mountain bike. Wrapped up the weekend with a trip to the grocery store to stock up.
Ready for the week ahead now?!
